The Manly Manifesto: How To Be Manly

Many men nowadays are turning away from masculinity and towards feminism when masculinity is something needed in our society. It’s all very well to be more open and willing to experiment. But manliness has been taken out our society with Xbox obsessed males who feel lost in the modern world and more at home watching re-runs of Fresh Prince of Bel Air than leading the life they want to enjoy and know that they could. Sound familiar?

Be Your Own Man

You are responsible for your actions and thoughts. Never follow others because their ideas seem popular, only follow them if your instinct tells you that they are right.

Balance Heart And Mind

Whenever you make and decision in your life, you will be pulled by your heart and mind in separate directions. Listen to both of these and what they are telling you. Your mind tends to tell you what is better for you, whilst the heart tells you what is better in the grand scheme of things.

The Only Death Is A Life Unlived

Live your life the way you would if you had total freedom, which of course you do. Smash through and conquest your fears. Your ultimate goal is to live a life in which you make a difference.

Don’t Become Selfish

A real man knows that he is a cog in the part of bigger things, spiritual beliefs aside. Becoming selfish makes you enjoy life less and others will feel your negative energy. Helping others is a great thing. There’s nothing better than someone saying to you “You’ve changed my life, I can’t thank you enough”. I’m getting goosebumps just sat here now thinking about it.

Got Goals That You Haven’t Started Towards Yet?

WHY!?!? All the great men of history have pasts chequered with failure. Thomas Edison failed 1000 times before creating the lightbulb. Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln both has Depression in their early lives but that didn’t stop them becoming as widely praised as they became. Sometimes the most challenged people become the most successful. What I’m trying to say is, you never know what is going to happen. All you can do is put in your maximum effort consistently. Don’t waste your time on thoughts of how you can’t do something and either find the way or make it.

What Sets Apart The Men From The Boys

Setting goals and consistently achieving them. All great people from history knew what they wanted (B) and where they are now (A) and closed the gap between A and B. It sounds simple but this is the only way it can be done. Think about the person you most admire? Do you really think that person that you admire had something superhuman about them? That the rules were different for them somehow? No, they knew how to effectively set goals. Too simple, right? yeah it is! That’s why its said by thousands of successful people over the years.
