Silently ask where they come from and your true nature will be revealed to you. Just keep watching those thoughts. I agree with you completely. The mind is so cunning but it is ultimately a little beggar. Awareness silences it and eventually it will yield to that great force and become your ally - or as you put it, a razor sharp tool. This is truly wonderful and I wish everyone could experience it. I sometimes want to shake people but then I become aware again and realise that even with all the terrible suffering in this world, the universe is as it is, absolutely perfect.
