Day 1 – Not Bad
February 26th, 2010
Ok today I did it! Man it was freezing on my forearms when I did the planks. I noticed a couple of annoying things.
Firstly I could not get my feet around the rock as well as I used too so later on today I’m going to practice my form on that.
Secondly. my Tabata Interval timer made no sound when it finished so I was doing a plank for like 40 seconds!
I took off my shirt during the exercise like normal but wasn’t cold even though their was frost on the ground. I was only cold because my forearms were in the ice. I got through all of the planks horizontally and my lowest rep count for sit-ups was 8.
Feeling the burn a little around the abs area that I targeted today but I somehow feel that I cheated because I couldn’t push myself to the maximum. Tomorrow will be a better day. Might buy myself an iPod Shuffle today.
On a side note, it was my first day getting up at 5am instead of 9am. It feels great getting up before the whole world and it is still dark. It’ll be cool to watch the sun rise.
So in conclusion:
- minimum sit-ups set: 8
- minimum planks set: completed all
- need to practice sit-ups around rock
- need to do sit-ups on grass and not hard floor
- need a better Tabata Timer (download)
