Richard,

It was good seeing your progress. I'm just curious if you thought about going with kettlebells, clubs, sandbags, or some such as opposed to the standard weight set?

Using the rock from your garden is akin to using any of the aforementioned, and the other nice thing is, they are all portable. Never be without them. I drive around with my clubs and k.b.s in my trunk when I am away from home for more than an afternoon, so I can be sure to have them for my routines.

Just worth a mention. They are perhaps a bit more of an investment initially (the k.b.s anyway) but they pay for themselves quickly.

@Matt - Go to Google video and search"Eckhart Tolle: Flowering Of Consciousness". Books I'd recommend include Tao Te Ching and anything by Eckhart Tolle who is a truly enlightened being. You can get his books cheap from Amazon.com.

A quick tip. Start watching your thoughts. Silently ask where they come from and your true nature will be revealed to you. Just keep watching those thoughts. Don't judge or think about them, just silently observe and your clouded consciousness will be replaced by a deep feeling of being alive.

Minimalism seems to getting a foothold as the new 'in' thing. After the last 15 years of go-get-it, have-it-all madness that maybe a good thing. Great that you are flagging it up Richard.
